Welcome to the Kingdom of LaMASKA, the home of quality purebred Siamese, Oriental and Peterbald

LaMASKA is located in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa.  We have successfully been breeding Oriental and Siamese since 1996, with a special interest in breeding exquisite torties, reds and creams.

In 2006 LaMASKA became the home of a Peterbald breeding pair from Israel, with the goal to develop this spectacular new breed in South Africa.  In 2007 two more handsome Peterbald boys were imported from the USA to further expand the very small gene pool of this special new breed.

LaMASKA cats are shown and we encourage new owners to also show their LaMASKA children. We find showing to be a very helpful tool to determine whether our cats are bred true to the South African Standard of Points.

LaMASKA Vision

  1. •To produce healthy, well-socialised kittens.

  2. •To breed kittens from healthy parents who stem from healthy bloodlines.

  3. •To breed Siamese, Orientals and Peterbald as close as possible to the Standard of Points as set out by the South African Cat Council (SACC).

  4. •To ensure that kittens produced are placed with responsible owners.

  5. •To ensure that prospective owners are knowledgeable and well-informed about the specific needs of the breeds.
